Just under 9000 Chana vehicles have been sold in southern Africa to date. Teclink Motors has full parts back up and service locally in Zimbabwe, and a trained Chana technician. It is important to note that all vehicles come with a 1 year/50 000 km warranty.
Chana SA carries 7 million ZAR worth of spares to compliment whatever is needed by Zimbabwe and not in our local stock.
Vehicle choice:
Vehicle choice is a very personal decision and one which is difficult for us the Chana Zimbabwe agents to decide on as we are of course biased. However, here are a few points regarding the effectiveness of the vehicles in our range to aid your decision making:
Chana single cab 1.0 l
This is southern Africa's best seller and the most cost effective and versatile truck on the market today. It comes standard with drop sides for easy loading and is the vehicle of choice for many small businesses. It has enough power to do the job and is cheap to service and maintain. With a top speed of 105 km/h it is definitely fast enough to be your multi purpose collection and delivery vehicle and we always have stock of these plucky little workhorses. Undoubtedly the number one pick up for sale in Zimbabwe.
Piaggio 'Ape'
This is India's best selling three wheeler with around 60% of the market. The fuel efficiency of the Piaggio is unbelievable at 36 km/l and its cheap to maintain and run. Lead time on orders is 3 months and top speed is 40 km/h which is suitable for the inner city districts but not the open road. The Piaggio comes in an open back or closed box configuration. It's the ideal start up workhorse.
Chana Rainbow and Panel Vans
There has been some confusion as to the difference between these two units. The Chana Rainbow Van has a fully enclosed back along with a separate lockable compartment above the drivers head. The Chana Panel Van is what it's name suggests but it has four (4) doors, which makes it slightly more versatile, while the Chana Rainbow will appeal to the user who wants his or her Chana only for a specific purpose such as collections and delivery. Both are very spacious and suitable for a C and D application
